Winter Sports – Y4-8

Winter Sports are next Tuesday 23^rd June at Whenuakite School from 9.45am to 2pm. We will be competing against Whenuakite and Te Rerenga Schools. If the weather looks bad for Tuesday and Whenuakite decide to cancel winter sports, we will notify everyone on Monday. We will require transport to and from the school and will need to leave Coroglen by 9.30am. Please fill in the slip at the end of the newsletter if you are able to help with transport.

The Y4 – 8 children competing will be given their blue Coroglen T-Shirts on Monday afternoon and they will need their sports clothes for the day. They will also need warm clothes to put on when they are not playing, a sun hat, lunch and a drink. We are not sure if there will be a BBQ so please make sure they have plenty of food.

There is extra parking via the bus bay gate, where the dental caravan enters.

Sushi Lunch

Next week Sushi Tuesday will be Sushi Friday the 26^th due to Winter Sports. This is only for next week then back to normal Tuesdays thereafter.

There will be no Sushi first week back at school in Term 3, but please get your orders in for the following week by the Friday with the correct change in an envelope.

Sushi Lunch is $5 for a full packed roll which are halved.

Creamy Mayo Tuna and Teriyaki Chicken – both with alfalfa, carrots, cucumber, capsicum and coriander.

Salmon & avocado plus Vegetarian on request.

Entrance Garden

Thank you to the parents who came down on Saturday to help Kylie get the gardens looking so good. It looks lovely as you enter the school grounds. Hopefully the gardens will be easier to keep maintained. Thank you again to Kylie for attacking the gardens and getting them done!
