The Ukulele Group were impressed with the children's performance and keen to let them try out the different types of ukulele's including an amped base ukulele. These picture were generously sent by Sue Dorrington of the Hahei Group.

Fundraising
Committee
There will be a Fundraising Committee meeting coming up to finalise the
accounts before the end of the year. We are also looking for more parents who
are interested in coming on board to help with the fundraising we do through
the year. Our children are the ones who benefit from the funds raised. The date
for the next meeting will be in next week’s newsletter.

came third in the 800m with a time of 3.0376 minutes and second in the 1500m

On returning your key at the end of the season, a refund of $10 will be given. All
children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult as per school
policy.

Senior

Some families have changed their plans about their commitment to camp. We
are asking parents to once again please confirm whether they and their
child/ren will be attending the Rotorua camp on 23rd to 26th November 2015. Please fill in
the slip at the end of this newsletter and return it to school no later than
Friday. Our final confirmation of
bookings will be based on these slips. The cost for students is
$175.50. The cost for adults is $470.50. Adults who are transporting others
during the trip will have their costs discounted by their accommodation costs
of $105 to $365.50.
Thames
Valley Athletics
Our camp is on the same day as the Thames Valley event. In fairness to
other athletes who are available to attend the Thames Valley event we have
decided not to send competitors to the Peninsula meet, although any senior
students not attending camp may go if they reach the standards tomorrow. The
Peninsula event is on the same day as our ukulele visit. At this time of the
year the calendar does become crowded and clashes are inevitable.
Stationery

We have attached your stationery accounts. Please send payment to the
school as soon as possible.

Your lawns fees are also due. $30 per child or $60 for two or more
children. Thank you to those families who have already paid their lawns fees.
