We had a great day with the Westpac Air Ambulance. As top fundraisers Corban Richardson, Jerome Melde, Tyrese Melde and Nikau Illingworth got a ride in the helicopter.

The entire school was lined up as the helicopter landed and the draft from the helicopter was tremendous. All the children had an opportunity to get close to the helicopter and ask questions of the pilots.

Thanks to Brooke Reynolds from the Westpac for her fabulous support and encouragement.

But wait there is more – the competition that keeps giving – We have a visit in term four from a mystery sportsperson. I wonder who???

Whitianga Library Presents – Craig Smith who wrote “The Wonky Donkey’ will be performing live for pre-schoolers and junior students on Thursday the 8th of September at 10 am to 10.40 am in the TOWN HALL. Please bring a gold coin donation. I have attached a permission and transport form at the end of this newsletter.
