Newsletter, Term 2, Wk 8

Hello / Kia Ora

Jump Rope for Heart
Our school had a successful Skip-a-thon afternoon last Thursday which raised money for the Heart Foundation. Any children who have not returned their sponsorship booklet and envelope, please get them in this week so we can do a tally up and let everyone know how much money we made for the Heart Foundation this year. MBAS Production
MBAS production is the well-known story of The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
The Y4-8 children have been invited to watch the dress rehearsal on Monday 27th June between 11.10am -2.30pm. Cost is $2 per student.  Because the Grandstand seating will not be in place we will be sitting on the floor.
The show runs for 3 hours with a short interval. This is a long period of time for our children to sit on the floor, so we may make the call to leave after Act one.
If you are able to provide transport, please fill in the transport slip at the end of the newsletter. We will have to leave Coroglen School by 10.40am.

Whitianga Community Services Trust offer an out of school care and recreation programme over the coming school holidays for the 5-8 year olds and 9-13 year olds. The school holiday programme starts from Monday 11th July to Friday 22nd July and are open for bookings now. If you would like one of their brochures with the holiday programme on, please let the school know and we can send a copy of one home with your child.

Have a good week, from Jean and the team…

I can/ cannot provide transport on Monday 27th June to MBAS for the Wizard of Oz production.

I have room for ________ children plus my own.

I understand I need to be at Coroglen School by 10.30am and be ready to leave at 10.40am.
