A huge thanks to all those who helped with transport and supported the swimmers on the day
Sustainable Coastlines – This was successful again this year with the Coroglen students cleaning up at Hot Water Beach. Once again Riley from Sustainable Coastlines had the children spellbound with his graphic presentation demonstrating the dangers of even the smallest pieces of plastic. Who knew that this tiny rubbish can and does end up in the stomachs of fish and birds. Some very interesting finds – a sizeable length of hazardous number 8 wire sticking out from a bank by the lagoon, and an ancient looking buoy which was half buried in the sand. Well done everyone. Thanks again the the drivers and rubbish hounds.
School Lunches – The Fundraising Committee would like to take over Friday Pub Lunch. We would be offering sausage sizzle, burgers and drinks until the end of term 1. Over the colder months we would like to offer one choice of meal each week. This could be lasagne, macaroni cheese, soup and garlic bread, stuffed potatoes or pizza. Sorry – no fried food. Our school population would not support both providers.
