Welcome back to term 3 – We hope you all enjoyed your holidays and are ready and looking forward to the next 9 weeks.

Special welcome to Marama Illingworth, who joined our new entrants in the junior room this week.

School T-shirts – reminder these need to be returned to the school if you haven’t already done so.

Volleyball – Tim from KiwiSport introduced Volleyball to our students in the senior room on Tuesday, teaching them how to underarm serve, set and pass the ball with accuracy. All the children enjoyed learning this new sport.

Rotating Patterns– The juniors have been doing geometry in maths this week, and here are some of the rotating patterns the year 2 & 3s built.

Nits – are back among our children, so please check your child/rens’ hair for any signs of head lice, and don’t send them back to school until they are cleared.

Shut the Gate on Rural Crime

Please find attached a fridge Magnet with the 0800 number to shut the gate on rural crime. Speak up if you see any behaviour out of the ordinary it is all anonymous.

Cross Country Training

We are training for cross country and all students need suitable clothes for running – preferably shorts. Training at home is encouraged. Hill climbing will help with fitness.

 Don’t forget to stretch.
