Hello / Kia Ora

Teacher Only Day
Coroglen School will be closed on Friday 30th May for a Teacher Only Day. This is also Queen’s Birthday weekend, so school will also be closed on Monday 2nd June. We hope you enjoy the long weekend.

Café menu at Coroglen Tavern
Support our local tavern. $1 from each muffin or slice of cake from the café menu at Coroglen Tavern is donated to Coroglen School. So all you coffee ladies – it’s a great place to meet up and have a coffee lala and muffin.

Seedlings available
Please feel free to come along and pick up some Kale and Parsley seedlings anytime. These are an excess to requirement.

Parachute Day
Last Wednesday Briar Ward from Project Energise came along with her giant parachute to work with our junior students. This unit taught our children to co-operate and work together, and about unity. Pictured are some of the children during the exercises.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Thank you to all the teddy bears and parents who came along to our Teddy Bear’s Picnic last Thursday. There were a lot of teddy bears who enjoyed the outing.

Weekend Rugby Results
Well done to all our children who played sport at the Open Day at the Sport Centre in town over the weekend. It was great to see all the different codes playing.

5th Grade Rugby – Player of the day was Antonio Rupeti Anderson.
6th Grade Rugby – Carter Hodge reported his team won 22 – nil against Thames.
8th Grade Rugby – Tyrese Melde reported his team won 35 – 15 against Te Aroha. Crunchy tackle of the day went to Caitlyn Hodge.
Well done everyone!
