Newsletter, Term 4, Wk 4

Hello / Kia Ora

Senior Rotorua Trip
Some families have changed their plans about their commitment to camp. We are asking parents to once again please confirm whether they and their child/ren will be attending the Rotorua camp on 23rd to 26th November 2015. Please fill in the slip at the end of this newsletter and return it to school no later than Friday. Our final confirmation of bookings will be based on these slips. The cost for students is $175.50. The cost for adults is $470.50. Adults who are transporting others during the trip will have their costs discounted by their accommodation costs of $105 to $365.50.

Thames Valley Athletics
Our camp is on the same day as the Thames Valley event. In fairness to other athletes who are available to attend the Thames Valley event we have decided not to send competitors to the Peninsula meet, although any senior students not attending camp may go if they reach the standards tomorrow. The Peninsula event is on the same day as our ukulele visit. At this time of the year the calendar does become crowded and clashes are inevitable.

Stationery Accounts
We have attached your stationery accounts. Please send payment to the school as soon as possible.

Lawns Fees
Your lawns fees are also due. $30 per child or $60 for two or more children. Thank you to those families who have already paid their lawns fees.

Dress Up Day
Witches, zombies, cowgirls, fairies and all types of magical creatures descended on Coroglen School last week for a gathering of the school’s annual Fun Dress Up Day. For more pictures you can go to our website www.coroglen.school.nz

Athletics Day
Reminder that athletics day will now be on Thursday 5th November starting at 10am.
Money raised from the sausage sizzle will be donated to the Ngarimu family.

School Touch
Over the next three Fridays Sport Waikato will be running Touch sessions for the junior and senior children. Children will need to make sure they wear appropriate clothing for touch i.e. shorts.

BOT meeting
Next BOT meeting will be Monday the 30th of November in the staff room at 3.15pm. All welcome.

Thank you to Mordechai and Christina Olivet for donating these fabulous books to our school.

Have a fantastic week - Penny and the team
