Thames Valley Athletics
We have two children who have qualified for the athletics at Te Aroha on Monday. Moana Manakau and Jerome Melde will represent the Peninsula Central Team. Good luck to both of you.

Nits
We have had outbreak of nits in the school. Please check your childs/ren hair daily. If you find any signs of nits or eggs, your child needs to be kept home until you have treated them.

Ukulele Visit
Last Tuesday Jenny Upsall’s Hahei friends visited the senior room to perform and listen to the awesome sounds of the senior room. Both groups had a great time, with the children trying out the different types of ukulele’s including an amped base ukulele.

Abacus Calendars
The Abacus Calendars have been sent off, however if you still want to order any calendars we can do a late order.

Swimming Pool Keys
The swimming pool is open. Pool keys cost $50 per season and can be purchased from the school office. This is an increase on past years to cover our costs of running the pool over the school holidays. On returning your key at the end of the season, a refund of $10 will be given. All children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult as per school policy.
